Benjamin Chang, a senior at Clovis High, won the boys 110-meter hurdles in a wind-aided 15.45 seconds at the CIF Central Section North Area Championships at Clovis East High in Clovis, California. Chang also secured sixth place in the long jump with a leap of 20-7.50 (6.28m). He advanced to the Central Section Championships on June 19 in the 110 hurdles and will have to wait and see if he moves on in the long jump as well to compete at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High, also in Clovis.
