Kennedy Jennings, a senior at Edison High in Fresno, won the girls 800 meters in 2:11.77 at the CIF Central Section North Area Championships at Clovis East High in Clovis, Calif. Jennings also contributed to a fourth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:18.02, advancing in both events to the Central Section Championships on June 19 at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High, also in Clovis.
